Test yourself at home today, protect Canada’s tomorrow

COMING SOON: Are you feeling sick with a respiratory illness? Do you live in Toronto and have a postal code beginning with M3J, M3K, M3N, M3L, M3M, or M6L? See if you’re eligible to receive a free at-home COVID test kit and get rapid test results.

We are conducting a research study called PREPARED, led by Dr. Andrew Pinto of the Upstream Lab, St. Michael’s Hospital, Unity Health Toronto.

How it works:

  • See if you’re eligible by completing the screening form (COMING SOON)
  • A member of our study team will contact you to obtain your consent and confirm that you’re eligible
  • We’ll send a free COVID test kit to your home via courier
  • Test yourself with a nasal swab and get rapid COVID test results in minutes
  • Share a photo of your positive or negative COVID test results with our researchers to help them monitor the viruses circulating in the community
