PREPARED in Manitoba

PREPARED is now active in Manitoba, with free respiratory virus testing available through participating primary care clinics in Winnipeg. Manitoba enrolled its first participant in December 2025.

Eligibility

Adults 18 years and older who are experiencing at least 2 respiratory symptoms within the past 7 days may be eligible to participate. Symptoms may include:

• rhinitis
• cough
• fever (>37.5°C)
• wheezing
• sore throat
• nasal congestion
• shortness of breath
• fatigue
• rapid breathing
• excessive mucus production
• loss of smell or taste
• hemoptysis
• trouble sleeping due to breathing difficulties
• or other respiratory symptoms
